RIBBA Hack

I've been thinking about doing this hack for quite a while and I finally had some time to do it and hang in on the wall. It turned out great. It's an original way to add art and increase the amount of lighting in the room.

I used 3 Ribba Frames and glued a 14" x 14" mirror on each of them with construction adhesive. Then I printed pictures of flowers on a transparent adhesive paper made for windows and attached them to the mirror.

  1. very nice. how did you get the image to print on the transparant paper? what brand of paper is it? this could be the perfect solution for the downstairs room in my split-level home. congratulations on the move!

  2. Thanks Raegan :) I used Avery Window Decal Sheets. The photos were printed with an inkjet printer. Since the background was white, you only see the flowers. Good luck.I'd love to see the result.

I love this idea Marie and will be trying it for our bedroom walls - and I have no difficulty finding photos of flowers from our backyard gardens:) I'll send you photos when completed.

  8. Thanks. They were actually custom made at a local shop. They didn't cost much. I think $7 each.
